Welcome!

We hope this site will help you learn more about the family of faith known as St Peter's and our witness for Christ. We strive to recognize and nurture the Christ in ourselves and each person that we encounter along the way. Our church is a thriving community of believers, and lovers of the word of God. St. Peter's has a long tradition of outreach and service to its members and the community. We hope you will join us for service on Sunday (or Saturday evening) to experience for yourself the fellowship of Christ.

Blessing of the Animals

Saturday, October 25th at 1:00 p.m.

Everyone is welcome (with or without a pet!).

This event is planned for outside on the side lawn off Mulberry Street near the office doors– weather permitting.   You are welcome to bring blankets or chairs for seating. Waste bags and water will be provided. In case of inclement weather, we will meet in the Assembly Room on the lower level.

“But my pet doesn’t travel well.” No need to traumatize your pet. You are invited to participate with a picture of your animal if you prefer. Included in your take-home materials will be a resource to offer an extended blessing with your pet at home. [This is a Vibrant Faith Activity]

Let’s bless other animals as well. You are invited to help support the local Humane Society with a monetary donation or with one of their most needed items: Lysol wipes, Swiffer mop refills, Windex, towels, old blankets, peanut butter, paper towels, dog treats and toys, disinfectant spray, canned and dry food, latex gloves, dish soap or bleach. Envelopes will be available if you wish to donate in memory of a pet

Vibrant Faith

A Workshop for Adults, Couples, Seniors, Parents, & Grandparents,

Sunday Morning, October 26th

9:15 a.m. in the Social Room

Vibrant Faith @ Home is an interactive resource designed to give people of all ages access to easy-to-use faith forming activities, tools, tips, blogs, forums, and advice - everything people need to build a stronger and deeper faith. Come learn about the Vibrant Faith framework - for you, for your family, for your congregation - and let us introduce you to online resources for faith formation and growth for all ages and stages.

Participants will learn several strategies for incorporating the Four Key faith practices – Caring Conversation, Devotions, Service, and Rituals and Traditions - into their daily, weekly and monthly routines – at home and the congregation.

Learn and be inspired to help make faith a part of everyday activities

especially for a child or teen with whom you want to share your faith.

Vibrant Faith @ Home supports families who are intentional about their faith and religious practice as they raise the next generation of committed Christians.

The Four Keys of caring conversation, devotions, service, and rituals and traditions are ways to participate in the means of grace that extends God’s love and saving work to the world on a daily basis, strengthening the faith lives of individuals and households
