“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many..” - Matthew 10:45

Here at St. Peter’s, we recognize that serving God is serving others. Whether here, near, or far, there are multiple care and outreach opportunities through St. Peter’s and the ELCA.

At the church and in the local area, there are multiple opportunities for care and outreach, such as:

  • cooking a meal for the local shelter house

  • working in our clothing center

  • taking a shift at the local Lutheran food pantry

  • taking advantage of one of the many other short term care projects regularly done through St. Peter’s.

Shelter meals - April OPEN dates are included on the Communications Slip. Any dates that are convenient for you are appreciated. If you have questions, contact Jeanne Carney.

If you are wishing to serve on a broader national, or even international level, visit the ELCA website to learn more about global missions, campus ministries, outdoor ministries, and countless other volunteer opportunities.
