This year’s Christmas collection will be a Toy Drive for needy children through Fairfield County Job & Family Services as well as items for homeless individuals at the Lutheran Social Services shelter at Faith Mission of Fairfield County.

Items for boys and girls of all ages, toddler to teen, are needed and greatly appreciated. Learning toys, Lego’s, games, stuffed animals, and sports equipment are all great. Especially for boys, consider trucks and cars, superhero items, anything Minecraft. For girls think of items like dolls and Barbies, and any Disney-theme items. Many times the agency struggles to have things for teens, but they would welcome things like Axe gift sets (body wash, deodorant, cologne), sports theme clothing, and sports equipment for teen boys. For teen girls gift sets of make-up, nail polish, or colognes, jewelry, sports equipment and fun clothing items are appreciated. All teens love to receive gift cards!! Angel Tree tags include these suggestions. We may also have tags specific for several children referred by JFS. Items requested for Faith Mission residents include gift cards and basic clothing and personal care items.

Pick-up a tag, make a purchase and pray over your gift and return it unwrapped by Sunday, December 16.
