Pre-School - 12th Grades

Sunday Faith Formation Classes begin at St. Peter’s on Sunday, September 16 at 9:15 a.m.

Join us for a wonderful year of Bible stories, music, crafts, games, service projects and special Sundays with All-Ages — across the generations — Sundays (“This Changes Everything” details elsewhere in this Chronicle).

This year we will continue to use Sparks Lectionary Curriculum with the Pre-school-Fifth Graders and a new “This Changes Everything” lesson plan with Faith Lens and special prep sessions for our All Aged Sundays with the 6th-12th graders.

NOTE calendar in the Youth News section for varying meeting times for Youth — if you attend on a Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m. when is youth session is not planned — NO FEAR — we will have activities you can do with our younger grades.

Adult Sunday Morning Class

Adults will once again meet jointly at Lutheran Church of Our Savior with Rev. Wray Bryant at 9:15 a.m.

“Paul’s Radical Faith” will explore the radical thinking of Paul which gave birth to Christian Theology. We will begin with a detailed discussion of Paul’s letter to the Galatians to discover the passion of his thought, the details which support his position, and the techniques he used to communicate the transforming Gospel of Grace which changes everything.

The fall session of the class runs from Sept. 17 through Nov. 11 with the exception of October 21 which will be a special intergenerational Faith Formation Sunday for all ages at St. Peter’s

If you would like to participate in this course but are otherwise committed on Sunday mornings, please be in contact with the church office. If desired, a second class might meet at another time for this course on Paul’s Radical Faith.
